Simple version. We collect your email address only when you choose to join The Letter, The Circle waitlist, or The Friday Table waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time.

This website is operated under Table for One Press ("we", "us"), a publishing imprint based in the United Kingdom. The data controller responsible for your personal data is Jennifer Brandt, trading as Table for One Press. You can reach the controller for any data question by email at tableforonepress@gmail.com. We keep this simple, because what we do with your data is simple.

What we collect

One thing: your email address, and only when you type it into our signup form yourself. We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or browsing profiles, and we do not buy or scrape lists.

Why we collect it, and the legal basis

To send you the free guide you requested and our occasional email newsletter about the Table for One — new guides, useful solo-travel material, and offers from us. The legal basis under UK GDPR / EU GDPR is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.

Who processes it

Our email list is managed through MailerLite, which stores your address on our behalf under its own terms. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone else. Ever.

How long we keep it

For as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you are removed from active mailing immediately and deleted from the provider's system within 30 days.

Your rights

  • Unsubscribe — every email we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Object to direct marketing — you have the right to object to your data being used for direct marketing at any time, and if you do, we will stop. Using the unsubscribe link is the quickest way; you can also email us and we will act on it.
  • Access, correction, deletion — email us and we will confirm, correct, or delete what we hold about you (which is your email address) within 30 days.
  • Complaint — if you are in the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); EU residents may contact their national data-protection authority.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives standard technical request data (such as your IP address) when the page loads. If analytics or any non-essential cookies are added in future, this section will be updated first and a consent banner shown where required.

Children

This site and list are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
