JENNIFER BRANDT · TABLE FOR ONE PRESS

For the woman
making her own plans.

A good guide should help with the decisions that matter to you. Where to base yourself. How to spend a day. Where to settle in for dinner.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE SHELF

Travel, with one
particular reader
in mind.

Table for One is Jennifer Brandt’s series of solo travel guides for women 50 and over. Culture, comfort, good food and practical planning sit at the heart of it.

Some readers have traveled independently for years. Others are booking alone after years of traveling with someone else. The guides are designed around the trip, without assuming everyone starts in the same place.

Jennifer grew up in upstate New York, began her career in New York City and moved to the UK in 2001. Living abroad and traveling inform the perspective behind the series.

Spain and Portugal are on the shelf now, alongside Tenerife and Lanzarote. More destinations are in preparation.

A NOTE ON HOW THE BOOKS ARE MADE

Human judgment.
AI-assisted work.

AI tools help with drafting, organization and research. Jennifer makes the editorial decisions. Personal experience should be identified as such; desk research should not be presented as a visit.
